These 6-Ingredient Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies are a classic treat that’s perfect for holidays, parties, or anytime you want a quick dessert. With soft peanut butter cookies topped with a melty chocolate kiss, they’re as easy to make as they are irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 24 chocolate kisses (unwrapped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and baking soda. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. The cookie will crack slightly, which is normal.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For added texture, roll the dough balls in granulated sugar before baking.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze unbaked cookie dough balls for up to 3 months for easy baking later.
