Instructions

🍥 Prepare the Filling:

  1. Mix the Cheesecake Filling:

    • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
    • Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Assemble the Wontons:

    • Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.
    • Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of the wrapper.
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of blueberry pie filling on top.

🥟 Fold the Wontons:

  1. Seal the Wontons:

    • Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with beaten egg.
    • Fold the wrapper into a triangle or bring all corners to the center, pinching tightly to seal.
    • Make sure there are no open edges to prevent filling from leaking out.

    • Continue until all the filling is used, making about 24 wontons.

🍳 Air Fry the Wontons:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Wontons:

    • Lightly spray the wontons with non-stick cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
  3. Cook in Batches:

    • Place wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece.
    • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  2. Serving Suggestions:

    • Serve warm as a dessert or a sweet snack.

Notes

  • Make It Ahead: You can assemble the wontons and freeze them before air frying. Cook from frozen, adding an extra 1-2 minutes to the air frying time.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispiness.
  • Other Fillings: Swap blueberries for strawberries, raspberries, or a spoonful of your favorite fruit jam.
