Ingredients
Scale
450 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite‑sized pieces
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan (for extra flavor)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 200 °C (400 °F) for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil.
Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Add Parmesan if using, then toss until chicken is evenly coated.
Arrange chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
Air‑fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temperature 75 °C / 165 °F).
If desired, air‑fry an additional 1–2 minutes for extra crispiness.
Remove chicken bites, let rest for 2 minutes, then serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, BBQ, honey mustard).
Notes
For spicy flavor, add ½ tsp cayenne pepper or chili powder.
Make a lighter version by using cooking spray instead of olive oil.
Ensure even cooking by cutting chicken into uniform pieces.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes.
