This air-fried broccoli is perfectly crispy on the edges, tender inside, and packed with flavor. It’s a healthier alternative to roasted broccoli and makes a perfect side dish or snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups broccoli florets (about 1 head of broccoli)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra depth)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Optional Toppings:
  • Red pepper flakes (for spice)
  • Extra Parmesan cheese
  • Ranch or yogurt dip for serving

Instructions

1. Prep the Broccoli

  1. Cut broccoli into bite-sized florets and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan (if using).

2. Air Fry the Broccoli

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Arrange broccoli in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd).
  3. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until crispy and slightly charred.

3. Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Drizzle with lemon juice (if using) and sprinkle extra Parmesan or red pepper flakes on top.
  2. Serve immediately as a side dish, snack, or appetizer!

Notes

  • Extra Crispy? Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes at 400°F.
  • No Air Fryer? Roast in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 minutes.
  • Make It Vegan: Skip the Parmesan or use nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor.
