2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness for uniform cooking.
In a bowl, mix buttermilk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Coat each piece in the breadcrumb mixture.
Spray both sides of the chicken with olive oil or cooking spray.
Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
