Air Fryer Edamame is a quick, healthy, and flavorful snack or appetizer made with lightly seasoned edamame pods, crisped to perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen edamame in pods
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the frozen edamame with olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, and chili flakes if using.
  3. Place the seasoned edamame in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pods are slightly crisp and heated through.
  5. Serve warm with extra sea salt if desired.

Notes

  • No need to thaw the edamame before air frying.
  • Try different seasonings like lemon pepper or soy sauce after cooking for variety.
  • Do not eat the pods—only the beans inside are edible.
