Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon is a quick, flavorful, and perfectly caramelized dish with a delicious balance of sweet and savory flavors. This easy recipe delivers crispy edges, tender flaky salmon, and a sticky honey garlic glaze—all in under 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp ginger, grated (optional)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Sesame seeds & chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat Air Fryer:

  • Set air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 2 minutes.

2. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

3. Marinate the Salmon:

  • Brush olive oil over the salmon fillets.
  • Pour half of the honey garlic sauce over the salmon and let sit for 5 minutes.

4. Air Fry the Salmon:

  • Place salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness.
  • Brush with the remaining sauce halfway through cooking.

5. Garnish & Serve:

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • Serve with steamed rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad!

Notes

Crispier Glaze: Brush extra sauce on the salmon in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
No Air Fryer? Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes or pan-sear for 3-4 minutes per side.
Storage: Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
