Crispy, tender air‑fried radishes with a golden exterior—a healthy, low‑carb alternative to roasted potatoes or simple veggie snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g fresh radishes, halved or quartered
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. Place halved or quartered radishes in a mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, then toss with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange radishes in a single layer in the air fryer basket; avoid overcrowding (cook in batches if needed).
  5. Air‑fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until edges are golden and crisp‑tender.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with chopped parsley or chives.
  7. Serve warm as a side dish, snack, or appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, air‑fry an extra 2–3 minutes or until desired texture.
  • Swap smoked paprika with chili powder or cumin for flavor variation.
  • You can substitute olive oil with avocado oil for higher smoke point.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 2 days; reheat in air fryer at 180 °C for 3–5 minutes.
