These crispy, seasoned potato slices are air-fried to perfection in just 15 minutes! They make a great alternative to fries, perfect for dipping or serving as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium russet potatoes (or Yukon Gold for a creamier texture)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or melted butter)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne (optional, for spice)

For Serving (Optional):

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Sour cream or ranch for dipping

Instructions

  • Prep the Potatoes:

    • Wash and scrub the potatoes (peel if desired).
    • Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds using a sharp knife or mandoline for even cooking.
  • Season the Slices:

    • In a bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Air Fry:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
    • Arrange potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if needed).
    • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

 

  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or Parmesan cheese, if using.
    • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

  • For Extra Crispiness: Soak sliced potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry before seasoning.
  • Different Flavors: Try ranch seasoning, Cajun spice, or Italian herbs for variety.
  • Storage & Reheating: Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes.
