Air Fryer Tilapia is a quick, healthy, and delicious seafood dish featuring flaky tilapia fillets seasoned and cooked to perfection in the air fryer. It’s perfect for a weeknight dinner and pairs well with vegetables or rice.

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Lemon wedges and chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  2. Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush both sides of each fillet with olive oil.
  4. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle seasoning evenly over both sides of the tilapia.
  6. Place fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if necessary).
  7. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until fish flakes easily with a fork and is golden around the edges.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges and parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches for even crisping.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne or chili powder for extra heat.
  • Pair with steamed veggies or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
