Air Fryer Tortellini is a crispy, cheesy appetizer or snack made by coating tortellini in breadcrumbs and air frying to golden perfection. It’s quick, easy, and delicious with marinara or dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz cheese tortellini (refrigerated or cooked and cooled if frozen)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil spray
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If using frozen tortellini, cook according to package directions and let cool completely.
  3. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Dip each tortellini first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place coated tortellini in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with olive oil.
  6. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer; cook in batches if needed.
  • You can use meat or spinach tortellini instead of cheese.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
