This Apricot Dijon Glazed Salmon is sweet, tangy, and packed with flavor. It’s quick to make and perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The apricot preserves and mustard combo creates a sticky glaze that pairs perfectly with tender, flaky salmon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets

  • ¼ cup apricot preserves or jam

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp whole grain mustard (or use more Dijon)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice (or lemon juice)

  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • 2 tsp garlic, grated

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, and garlic.

  2. Prep the salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Brush with glaze: Spoon or brush the apricot-Dijon glaze evenly over each piece of salmon.

  4. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Optional: broil for the last 1–2 minutes for a caramelized finish.

  5. Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or green onions and serve with rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh green salad.

Notes

  • You can thicken the glaze in a saucepan if you prefer a stickier finish.

  • This recipe also works great on the grill or in an air fryer!

  • Leftovers are great flaked into salads or wraps.
