Ingredients
Scale
1 lb chicken tenders
10–12 slices of bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Cooking spray or oil for greasing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
Coat each wrapped tender in the brown sugar mixture, pressing to adhere well.
Place tenders on the prepared rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use thin-cut bacon for best wrapping and crisping.
Line the pan well to catch drippings and ease cleanup.
Serve with ranch, honey mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
