These Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders are the perfect sweet and savory dish featuring juicy chicken wrapped in crispy bacon and coated in a brown sugar spice blend. Ideal for appetizers or a fun main course.

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1012 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  4. Coat each wrapped tender in the brown sugar mixture, pressing to adhere well.
  5. Place tenders on the prepared rack. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
