These grilled Brussels sprouts are wrapped in crispy bacon, lightly seasoned, and cooked to perfection on the grill. A perfect appetizer, side dish, or game-day snack!

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved if large
  • 10–12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

 

  • Toothpicks (to secure bacon)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Trim & Season: Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
  2. Season: In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

2. Wrap with Bacon

  1. Wrap & Secure: Wrap each Brussels sprout with half a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.

3. Grill the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Preheat Grill: Heat grill to medium-high (375–400°F) and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Grill: Place bacon-wrapped Brussels sprouts on the grill. Cook for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally, until bacon is crispy and sprouts are tender.
  3. Drizzle (Optional): Brush with maple syrup or balsamic glaze in the last 5 minutes of grilling for extra flavor.

4. Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Remove from grill, let cool for a minute, and serve warm. Enjoy as a snack, side dish, or party appetizer!

Notes

  • Oven Option: Bake at 400°F for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Make It Spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or drizzle with hot honey.
  • Crispier Bacon: Use thin-cut bacon for faster crisping.
