Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush pork chops on both sides with olive oil, then rub evenly with the spice mixture.
  5. Place pork chops on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). For extra browning, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness without overcooking.
  • Marinate pork chops in olive oil and spices for extra flavor if time allows.
