Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 3 cups beef broth

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)

  • 2 1/2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.

  2. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Stir in the beef broth and cream of mushroom soup until well combined.

  4. Add the uncooked egg noodles and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.

  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.

  6. Stir in cheddar cheese and sour cream until melted and creamy.

  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra veggies, add frozen peas or chopped spinach in the last 5 minutes of cooking.

  • Swap ground beef for ground turkey or chicken if preferred.

  • Use wide egg noodles for a more traditional texture.
