This Blackstone pizza delivers a crispy crust, melty cheese, and all your favorite toppings right from the griddle! It’s a quick and easy way to enjoy homemade pizza without firing up the oven. Perfect for pizza night, camping, or outdoor cooking with the family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for the griddle)

  • ½ cup pizza sauce

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Favorite toppings (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.)

  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

  • Fresh basil or crushed red pepper for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-low heat. Lightly oil the surface.

  2. Stretch the dough: On a floured surface, roll or stretch the dough into a 10–12″ round or rectangle.

  3. Cook the crust: Place the dough directly on the griddle. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom starts to brown and bubble.

  4. Flip and top: Flip the crust, then immediately spread sauce over the cooked side. Sprinkle with mozzarella and add your toppings.

  5. Cover and melt: Reduce heat to low, cover with a large dome lid or metal bowl, and cook another 4–6 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bottom is crispy.

  6. Finish & serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Slice and serve hot with fresh basil or chili flakes if desired.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to transfer raw dough onto the griddle if it’s sticky.

  • A dome lid helps the cheese melt faster—don’t skip it!

  • Thin crust works best on the Blackstone to cook evenly without burning.
