A creamy, tangy frozen yogurt bursting with fresh blueberries—light and refreshing, perfect for a healthier sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (whole or low‑fat)
  • ½ cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine blueberries, Greek yogurt, cream, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (about 20–25 minutes) until thick and creamy.
  4. Transfer frozen yogurt to a lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours for a firmer texture.
  5. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before scooping.
  6. Serve topped with fresh blueberries, a drizzle of honey, or a sprig of mint.

Notes

  • No ice cream maker? Pour mixture into a shallow freezer‑safe dish and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes until creamy.
  • Use frozen blueberries directly—no need to thaw.
  • For a dairy‑free version, use coconut yogurt and coconut cream.
  • Swirl in a berry compote or chocolate chips after churning for added texture.
