Boat Dip, also known as Rotel Ranch Dip, is a creamy, zesty, and slightly spicy dip that’s perfect for parties, game days, or a snack on the water! Made with just a few simple ingredients, this crowd-pleaser pairs wonderfully with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

  • 1 (10 oz/280g) can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies), drained
  • 1 cup (120g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet (1 oz/28g) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Tortilla chips or crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients:
    • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, drained Rotel, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and garlic powder (if using).
  2. Mix Well:
    • Stir all the ingredients together until fully combined. Ensure the ranch seasoning is evenly distributed.
  3. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  4. Serve:
