1 jar (10 oz) maraschino cherries with stems, drained
1/2 cup vodka or other preferred liquor
1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother dipping)
Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
Place drained cherries in a small bowl and pour vodka over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for stronger flavor.
Drain cherries and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate, then immediately into the sprinkles.
Place dipped cherries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until chocolate is set.
Notes
Dry cherries well before dipping to help chocolate adhere.
