Boursin Chicken is a creamy, flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich sauce made with Boursin cheese, garlic, and herbs. It’s an easy yet elegant meal perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic to the same pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
  5. Add Boursin cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cook for another 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, pasta, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Try other Boursin flavors for variety, such as Shallot & Chive or Cracked Black Pepper.
  • This dish pairs well with a crisp white wine like Sauvignon Blanc.
