Brown Sugar Ham Glaze is a sweet and savory glaze made with brown sugar, mustard, and warm spices. It caramelizes beautifully over baked ham, creating a sticky, flavorful coating that’s perfect for holiday meals or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon or yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
  2. Stir in cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Brush over ham during the last 30 minutes of baking, basting every 10 minutes for a glossy, flavorful coating.
