Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes are a tangy, spicy twist on the classic sloppy joe. Made with ground chicken, Buffalo sauce, and topped with creamy ranch or blue cheese, this easy dinner is ready in minutes and packed with flavor.   • 1 lb ground chicken

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 4–6 hamburger buns, toasted

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground chicken and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked, about 6–7 minutes.
  2. Sauté Aromatics:
    • Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
    • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
  3. Add the Sauce:
    • Stir in Buffalo sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
    • Mix well and let the mixture simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  4. Assemble the Sloppy Joes:
    • Spoon the Buffalo chicken mixture onto the toasted buns.
    • Top with blue cheese or ranch dressing and any desired toppings.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve hot with a side of fries, chips, or a crisp green salad.


Notes
