Ingredients
Scale
1 prepared pizza dough
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and prepare a pizza stone or baking sheet.
Roll out the pizza dough to desired thickness and transfer to the prepared surface.
Mix melted butter and minced garlic together in a small bowl.
Brush the butter-garlic mixture evenly over the pizza dough, covering the edges too.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough.
Top with Italian seasoning and optional red pepper flakes.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for the most robust flavor.
Add toppings like spinach, mushrooms, or chicken for a heartier pizza.
For extra crispy crust, pre-bake the dough for 3-4 minutes before adding toppings.
