Cajun Chicken over Creamy Parmesan Linguine is a flavorful and satisfying dish featuring spicy, pan-seared Cajun-seasoned chicken breasts served over rich, garlicky parmesan cream linguine for the perfect blend of heat and comfort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Rub chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and nicely blackened. Remove and rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked linguine to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Slice the rested chicken and place on top of the creamy pasta.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning for desired spice level.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Grill the chicken for a smoky flavor twist.
  • Top with extra Parmesan for more richness.
