This easy banana bread is made with cake mix for a soft, moist, and delicious treat! Perfect for a quick breakfast, snack, or dessert.

  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • â…“ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  • Mix Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
    • Add cake mix, eggs, oil, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until just combined (do not overmix).
    • Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
  • Bake:

    • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
    • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

 

  • Cool & Serve:

    • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
    • Slice and enjoy!
