Cake Mix Cookies are the ultimate quick and easy dessert! With just a few ingredients and endless customization options, these soft and chewy cookies are perfect for parties, bake sales, or a sweet treat on a busy day.

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • Optional add-ins: chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts, or candy pieces (1/2–1 cup)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs until a thick dough forms.
  • If using add-ins, fold them into the dough.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are slightly soft. Do not overbake.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
