These Candy Bar Pretzel Bites are the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and crunchy! Mini pretzels are topped with melty chocolate and your favorite candy bars, making them a quick and easy treat for parties, holiday gift baskets, or game-day snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag mini pretzel twists or squares
  • 2025 small chocolate candy bars (like Snickers, Milky Way, Rolos, or Reese’s), cut into bite-sized pieces if needed
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips (optional, for extra drizzle)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)
  • Sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Assemble the Bites:

    • Arrange pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Place one candy bar piece on top of each pretzel.
  • Bake:

    • Bake for 3-5 minutes, just until the candy starts to soften (but not completely melt).
    • Remove from the oven and gently press another pretzel on top to create a sandwich.
  • Optional Chocolate Drizzle:

    • Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
    • Drizzle melted chocolate over the pretzel bites and sprinkle with chopped nuts or sea salt.
  • Cool and Set:

    • Let the bites cool at room temperature, or place the tray in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set faster.
  • Serve:

    • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days (if they last that long!).

Notes

  • Use seasonal candy (like mini Reese’s pumpkins or peppermint bark) for holiday-themed treats.
  • Swap pretzels for Ritz crackers for a buttery, savory twist.
  • Add a layer of peanut butter between the pretzel and candy for extra indulgence.
