Candy Bubble Bliss is a whimsical, colorful dessert that combines bubbly textures with candy-coated surprises. Perfect for parties, celebrations, or a playful sweet treat, this recipe is as fun to make as it is to eat!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Bubbles:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) clear soda (like Sprite or sparkling water)
  • 1 envelope (7 g) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Gel food coloring (variety of colors)

For the Candy Coating:

  • 1 cup (200 g) white chocolate or candy melts
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) sprinkles, edible glitter, or crushed candy

Optional Garnishes:

  • Cotton candy
  • Whipped cream
  • Candy pearls

Instructions

  1. Make the Bubbles:
    • In a small saucepan, heat the clear soda over medium-low heat until warm (do not boil).
    • Stir in the sugar and gelatin until dissolved.
    • Divide the mixture into small bowls and add a drop of gel food coloring to each. Mix well.
  2. Create Bubble Shapes:
    • Pour the gelatin mixture into small spherical molds or use a piping bag to create bubble shapes on parchment paper. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until set.
  3. Prepare the Candy Coating:
    • Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  4. Coat the Bubbles:
    • Remove the gelatin bubbles from the molds. Dip each one into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
    • Immediately decorate with sprinkles, glitter, or crushed candy before the coating hardens.
  5. Assemble and Serve:
    • Arrange the coated bubbles in a bowl or platter. Garnish with cotton candy, whipped cream, or candy pearls for extra flair.

Notes

  • For a fruity twist, substitute clear soda with fruit juice.
  • Store the coated bubbles in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Experiment with different candy coatings like dark chocolate or caramel for variety.
