Candy Grapes are a fun and colorful treat made by coating fresh grapes in a sweet syrup and rolling them in flavored or colored sugar. They’re crisp, juicy, and perfect for parties, snacks, or a fruity candy alternative.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups seedless grapes (red or green), washed and dried
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Gel food coloring or powdered drink mix (like Kool-Aid), optional for color and flavor

Instructions

  1. Prepare a wire rack or parchment-lined tray for drying the grapes.
  2. In a small bowl, pour corn syrup or honey.
  3. In another bowl, combine granulated sugar with a few drops of gel food coloring or powdered drink mix for desired color and flavor.
  4. Dip each grape in the syrup to coat lightly, then roll in the colored sugar until fully covered.
  5. Place coated grapes on the prepared tray and let set for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days for best texture.

Notes

  • Make sure grapes are fully dry before coating to help syrup stick.
  • Try different drink mix flavors for a variety of candy coatings.
  • Great for kids’ parties or holiday-themed colors.
