Ingredients
Scale
1 bottle (750ml) white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
2 cups apple cider
½ cup caramel vodka
¼ cup brandy (optional, for extra depth)
2 apples, thinly sliced
1 pear, thinly sliced
½ cup caramel sauce (for rimming glasses)
¼ cup brown sugar + ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for rimming glasses)
1 cup club soda (for a little fizz, optional)
Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
Instructions
In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, caramel vodka, and brandy. Stir well.
Add the sliced apples and pears to the pitcher and let the sangria chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (or overnight for more flavor).
When ready to serve, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon on a small plate. Rim the glasses with caramel sauce, then dip into the sugar mixture.
Pour the chilled sangria into the prepared glasses. If desired, top each glass with a splash of club soda for some fizz.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an extra apple slice. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
This sangria tastes even better after chilling for a few hours, as the flavors meld together.
If you prefer a less sweet version, use an unoaked Chardonnay and reduce the caramel vodka slightly.
For a sparkling twist, use sparkling apple cider instead of regular cider.
