This Caramel Cream Cheese Dip is a luscious, creamy, and sweet treat that pairs perfectly with fresh fruit, cookies, or pretzels. Made with smooth cream cheese and rich caramel, it’s an easy dessert dip for parties, holidays, or anytime indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120ml) caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ cup (50g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Toffee bits
  • Extra drizzle of caramel

For Serving:

  • Apple slices, strawberries, graham crackers, pretzels, or cookies

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:
    • In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the Sweetness:
    • Mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Incorporate the Caramel:
    • Reserve 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce for topping, then fold the remaining caramel into the cream cheese mixture until well blended.
  4. Assemble the Dip:
    • Transfer the dip to a serving dish. Smooth the top with a spatula and drizzle the reserved caramel sauce over the surface.
    • Sprinkle chopped nuts, toffee bits, or your desired toppings for added texture and flavor.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve immediately with fresh fruit, pretzels, or cookies for dipping. Alternatively, cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving if chilled.

Notes

  • For a salted caramel twist, use salted caramel sauce and add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top.
  • To prevent apple slices from browning, toss them in lemon water before serving.
  • Use this dip as a filling for crepes or spread it on pancakes for a decadent breakfast treat.
