Ingredients
Scale
8 oz linguine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Cook linguine according to package directions. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Drain excess fat if needed, then add garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Stir in butter and let it melt completely.
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet along with Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water. Toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for 1-2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
Add red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
This dish pairs well with a simple green salad or garlic bread.
