Ingredients

Scale

  • For the crust:

    • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • For the fudge layer:

    • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the cherry marshmallow topping:

    • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
    • ¾ cup maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
    • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar.
    • Press the mixture firmly into a 9×9-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
    • Bake for 8-10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
  2. Make the fudge layer:

    • In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and condensed milk, stirring until smooth.
    • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
    • Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled crust, spreading evenly.
  3. Add the cherry marshmallow topping:

    • Sprinkle mini marshmallows, chopped maraschino cherries, and walnuts (if using) over the fudge layer.
    • Lightly press them into the chocolate.
  4. Set and serve:

    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until fully set.
    • Once firm, cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Drain and pat dry the maraschino cherries to prevent excess moisture.
  • For extra crunch, add chopped pecans or almonds instead of walnuts.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
