These Chicken Crescent Rolls are a warm, creamy, and cheesy comfort food wrapped in buttery crescent dough. Perfect for a quick dinner, snack, or party appetizer!

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (or sour cream)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley. Stir until well combined.
  • Assemble the Crescent Rolls:

    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
    • Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end, and tuck the sides slightly to seal in the filling.
  • Bake:

    • Place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Brush with melted butter for a golden crust.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

 

  • Serve & Enjoy:

    • Let cool slightly and serve warm with ranch, honey mustard, or marinara sauce!

Notes

  • Add a spicy kick with 1 teaspoon hot sauce in the filling.
  • Make it extra cheesy by sprinkling more shredded cheese on top before baking.

 

  • Use rotisserie chicken for an even quicker prep!
