1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
12 oz penne or rotini pasta
2 cups marinara sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, pasta, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spread mixture into prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly and breadcrumbs are golden.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving, if desired.
