Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

2. Add the Caramel Layer:

  1. Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the chilled crust. Sprinkle with sea salt, if desired. Return to the refrigerator while preparing the chocolate cream.

3. Make the Chocolate Cream:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and melted. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a large bowl, whip the remaining 1 cup of heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
