- ¼ cup chocolate chips (for drizzling, optional)
For the Chocolate Cheesecake Filling:
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup (30 g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
- ¼ cup melted dark or milk chocolate
Optional Toppings:
- Crushed graham crackers
- Mini chocolate chips
- Crushed nuts (almonds, pecans, or hazelnuts)
- Shredded coconut
Instructions
Prep the Strawberries
- Rinse strawberries and pat them dry.
- Cut off the strawberry tops, then use a small knife or spoon to hollow out the center.
Make the Chocolate Cheesecake Filling
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Mix in melted chocolate until creamy.
Fill the Strawberries
- Transfer the cheesecake mixture into a piping bag (or a ziplock bag with the tip cut off).
- Pipe the filling into each hollowed-out strawberry.
Add Toppings & Serve
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed nuts or graham crackers.
- Serve immediately or chill for 15-20 minutes for a firmer texture.
