A fun and easy twist on a classic treat, these chocolate covered strawberries are made in an ice cube tray for a perfectly portioned and mess-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 12 fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries. Pat them dry completely with paper towels.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in coconut oil if using.
  3. Spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each compartment of an ice cube tray to coat the bottom.
  4. Place one strawberry upright in each chocolate-filled compartment.
  5. Pour additional melted chocolate over each strawberry until fully covered.
  6. Tap the tray gently on the counter to remove air bubbles and level the chocolate.
  7. Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 1 hour or until the chocolate is fully set.
  8. Once set, gently pop out each chocolate covered strawberry from the tray and serve.

Notes

  • Use silicone ice cube trays for easier removal.
  • You can use white or dark chocolate for variety.
  • Top with crushed nuts, sprinkles, or a drizzle of white chocolate before chilling for extra flair.
