These Chocolate-Dipped Pretzels are crunchy, salty treats coated in smooth, melted chocolate and decorated with sprinkles, crushed nuts, or drizzled white chocolate. Perfect for gifting or snacking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzel rods or mini pretzels
  • 8 oz semi-sweet or milk chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
  • 4 oz white chocolate, chopped (for drizzling, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • Toppings (optional):
    • Sprinkles
    • Crushed nuts
    • Crushed candy canes
    • Mini M&Ms
    • Sea salt

Instructions

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. (Or use a double boiler for gentle melting.)
  2. If using, stir in coconut oil for a thinner consistency.

Step 2: Dip the Pretzels

  1. Dip each pretzel rod about â…” of the way into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off. (For mini pretzels, use tongs or a fork to dip completely.)
  2. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Step 3: Decorate

  1. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with toppings like sprinkles, crushed candy, or sea salt.
  2. If using white chocolate drizzle, melt the white chocolate the same way and drizzle over the pretzels with a spoon or piping bag.

Step 4: Set & Serve

  1. Let pretzels set at room temperature for 30 minutes or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes until firm.
  2. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 1 week.
