Mini sandwiches layered with Italian deli meats, cheese, and zesty Italian dressing, baked until warm and gooey—perfect for parties or game-day gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider rolls or dinner rolls
  • 6 oz sliced salami
  • 6 oz sliced ham (Italian-style like prosciutto cotto or Black Forest)
  • 6 oz sliced provolone or mozzarella
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 Tbsp Italian dressing
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp dried basil
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms intact. Place bottoms in a single layer in the baking dish.
  3. Layer evenly with salami, ham, then cheese slices on top of the roll bottoms.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Italian dressing, Dijon, garlic powder, oregano, and basil until well combined.
  5. Spread the sauce mixture evenly over the tops of the cheese layer.
  6. Place the roll tops over the sauced layers, pressing gently to compact sandwiches.
  7. Brush melted butter over the tops of the rolls, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan if using.
  8. Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and sliders are heated through.
  9. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes to let tops crisp slightly.
  10. Remove from oven, let rest 2 minutes, then slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to swap Italian meats—roast beef or turkey work too.
  • Use pepperoncini slices or roasted red peppers for extra flavor.
  • Double up cheese or add pepper Jack for a spicy kick.
  • Make ahead: assemble, wrap tightly in foil, refrigerate, and bake later (add a few minutes if baking cold).
  • Serve with extra Italian dressing, marinara, or pickles on the side.
