This festive mojito combines the tartness of cranberries, the zing of lime, and the freshness of mint, making it the perfect cocktail for Christmas celebrations. Garnished with sugared cranberries and mint sprigs, it’s as beautiful as it is delicious!

Ingredients

  • 68 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or simple syrup)
  • 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 oz (60 ml) white rum
  • 2 oz (60 ml) cranberry juice
  • Club soda or sparkling water, to top
  • Ice cubes
    For garnish:

    • Sugared cranberries
    • Mint sprigs
    • Lime slices

Instructions

  1. Muddle the mint and lime:
    • In a sturdy glass, combine the mint leaves, sugar (or simple syrup), and lime wedges. Gently muddle them with a muddler or the back of a spoon to release the flavors.
  2. Add the rum and cranberry juice:
    • Pour in the white rum and cranberry juice. Stir to combine.
  3. Fill with ice and soda:
    • Add ice cubes to the glass and top with club soda or sparkling water. Stir gently.
  4. Garnish and serve:
    • Garnish with sugared cranberries, a sprig of mint, and a lime slice. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace the rum with extra cranberry juice or sparkling apple cider.
  • To make sugared cranberries: Coat fresh cranberries in simple syrup, then roll them in granulated sugar and let dry for 30 minutes.
  • You can add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon for a subtle holiday spice twist.
