Cinnamon Butter is a sweet and creamy spread made with butter, cinnamon, and sugar, perfect for slathering on toast, pancakes, muffins, or warm rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon, and salt if using.
  2. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Transfer to a jar or airtight container.
  4. Store at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Bring to room temperature before serving.

Notes

  • Use salted butter and omit added salt if you prefer a salty-sweet balance.
  • For a whipped version, beat for a few extra minutes to incorporate more air.
