These creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet pinwheels are made with dried cranberries, feta cheese, and a touch of green onion, all rolled up in a soft tortilla. They’re perfect for holiday parties or as an easy appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120g) crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ cup (60g) dried cranberries, chopped
  • ¼ cup (25g) green onions, finely chopped
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and crumbled feta cheese until smooth.
    • Fold in the chopped cranberries and green onions until evenly combined.
  2. Assemble the Pinwheels:
    • Spread a generous layer of the cranberry-feta mixture onto each tortilla, leaving about ½ inch of space around the edges.
    • Roll each tortilla tightly into a log.
  3. Chill:
    • Wrap the rolled tortillas in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up. This helps them hold their shape when sliced.
  4. Slice and Serve:
    • Remove the plastic wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange on a platter and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Add chopped spinach or fresh parsley for extra color and flavor.
  • For a hint of sweetness, drizzle a little honey over the filling before rolling.
  • These can be made up to a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
