Cream Cheese Corn Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and savory dip made with corn, cream cheese, and seasonings—perfect for parties, potlucks, or game day gatherings when served with tortilla chips or crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen and thawed)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (optional, for heat)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter (if sautéing corn)

Instructions

  1. If using fresh or frozen corn, sauté in a skillet with butter over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until slightly golden. Let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Add cheddar cheese, green onions, jalapeños (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fold in the corn until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl or baking dish. Serve as is, or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve warm or chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • To make ahead, prepare and refrigerate the dip up to 24 hours in advance.
  • Use pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese for a spicier version.
  • Add crumbled bacon for extra flavor and crunch.
  • Double the recipe for larger gatherings.
