Cream Cheese Oreo Brownies are ultra-decadent treats with a fudgy brownie base, a rich cream cheese swirl, and chunks of Oreo cookies throughout. A perfect dessert for any chocolate lover.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese mixture)
  • 1 egg (for cream cheese mixture)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream cheese mixture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt, and stir until smooth. Fold in chopped Oreos.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a knife to gently swirl the cream cheese into the brownie mixture.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • Chill before slicing for clean edges.
  • Add extra chopped Oreos on top before baking for extra crunch.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
