Spicy Samyang Buldak ramen transformed into a creamy, indulgent bowl with egg yolk, mayo, milk, and cheese—rich, fiery comfort food perfect for late-night cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet Samyang Buldak Carbonara or Hot Chicken Ramen
  • 1 egg yolk (plus optional boiled or fried egg for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Kewpie mayo (or regular mayo)
  • 23 tbsp reserved noodle water
  • 1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 23 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Optional add-ins: 1/2 cup rice cakes, dumplings, or sautéed vegetables
  • Garnishes: sesame seeds, chopped scallions, seaweed flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Reserve 2–3 tablespoons of noodle water before draining.
  2. In a bowl, mix egg yolk, mayo, and the included Buldak sauce packet until smooth.
  3. Slowly whisk in reserved noodle water until creamy and emulsified.
  4. Stir in milk or cream and mozzarella cheese. Heat gently over low heat until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the sauce and toss to coat thoroughly.
  6. Serve hot, topped with optional boiled or fried egg, sesame seeds, scallions, and seaweed flakes.

Notes

  • Use the Carbonara version of Buldak for a milder heat with creamy flavor.
  • Reduce heat by adding more milk or skipping the full sauce packet.
  • Add cooked rice cakes or dumplings to make it heartier.
  • Stir constantly when heating sauce to prevent curdling the egg yolk.
  • Customize with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
