Creamy Chicken, Apple & Grape Salad is a flavorful mix of tender chicken, crisp apples, juicy grapes, and crunchy celery tossed in a creamy dressing. It’s a refreshing twist on classic chicken salad, perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or serving over greens.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped or shredded (rotisserie works great)

  • 1 medium apple, chopped (Honeycrisp or Gala recommended)

  • 1 cup red or green grapes, halved

  • 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced (optional)

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt (or a mix of both)

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For Serving:

  • Butter lettuce leaves, sandwich bread, or crackers

Instructions

  1. Make the Dressing:
    In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or yogurt), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  2. Combine the Salad:
    In a large bowl, mix chicken, apples, grapes, celery, nuts, and red onion (if using). Pour dressing over the top and toss until everything is evenly coated.

  3. Serve:
    Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving, or serve immediately in lettuce cups, on sandwich bread, or with crackers.

Notes

  • This salad keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • For extra flavor, toast the nuts before adding.
