Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown; remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and smoother sauce.
Adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more cream or broth as needed.
This dish pairs well with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables.
