8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
